In April 2021, Kyoto Tachibana University established a new Faculty of Engineering, with two new departments: the Department of Information and Computer Science and the Department of Architectural Design. The Department of Information and Computer Science trains IT specialists who utilize advanced information technologies such as AI, Big Data, and IoT to connect information technology with people and society. The Department of Architectural Design aims to develop individuals capable of practicing architectural design that meets the needs of the new era in a wide range of fields, including architecture, interior design, and the environment.
