Japanese Education

International Students

Kyoto Tachibana University provides international students with Japanese classes that fit every proficiency level of Japanese. It also offers elective courses other than Japanese. Taking advantage of the location of the school in the ancient cultural city of Japan, the program incorporates field studies to famous temples and historic landmarks in Kyoto. Students can enjoy actually being part of such traditional events as the Gion Festival. After school, international students spend their free time communicating with their student language partners, and attending extra-curricular Japanese classes operated by Japanese student volunteers. The Foreign Student Host Family, sponsored by Kyoto City International Foundation, gives students wonderful experience, such as the seasonal traditional events of Kyoto. Now students from Taiwan, Korea, China and Australia, including exchange students from affiliated schools, study at Kyoto Tachibana University.
