Japanese media content, such as games, anime, and music, is extremely popular all over the world, and as the digitalization of content accelerates, it will become even more accessible and appreciated by a much larger audience. In addition, media engineering technologies such as automatic recognition of images, videos, and audio, as well as VR, are indispensable in various industries such as automotive, healthcare, and entertainment. On the other hand, the shortage of IT personnel capable of making full use of these technologies is expected to become increasingly severe.
At the Department of Digital Media, students can take advantage of overseas programs and online media classes to engage with cutting-edge global technologies and trends, allowing them to gain practical, hands-on learning experiences.
